Snark U.

I’m troubled when people equate snark with sarcasm. Snark has a light, velvety effervescence that tickles the throat going down. Sarcasm has a bit more bitterness. It can be a dark, mezcal-flavored mistress that hurts so good, or just be the plain old, fucking dumbass embodiment of Sean Hannity.

My dear, you are lovely. Snark also has a touch of class along with a dose of intelligence. You nailed my mistress of sarcasm on the head. For better or worse, she is mine. How I long for the sultry ways of Snark over her!

Perhaps I was feeling more benevolent when I wrote that. A rainy Monday is a perfect day for the mistress; one should always consider her sage counsel.

You say “bitter” as though it’s a bad thing.

Bitter is the new misogyny.
